driving the pacific highway canyons alone was very beautiful in southern California on my way to the Getty Villa for a luncheon within the College Arts Association and then getting to KALABASH RISTORANTE IN PASADENA is also very nice as is the ristorante in Malibu beach just a ten minute drive from this location. In 2009 two weeks were lovely.

in a drive during an international arts conference in lower southern California very near pacific coastal highway and MALABU BEACH, it was very calm and beautiful. I met FRANK GERHY and the late SIDNEY POLLACK in a small Pasadena venue that was scheduled by the conference organizers at the college arts association (CAA). Flying into the 2009 events for the conference at the GETTY and all over the Los Angeles area with international colleagues everywhere in the Los Angeles Conference Center was exciting and quaint meeting arts people. The rental car from the airport was very easy to walk to if you fly into BURBANK, and not LAX that is very chaotic. Being thrifty is important during conference times. Budget well. The museum gala I look forward to once a year in Los Angeles, Chicago and New Manhattan NYC, is always very busy. Seeing many of the same faces again and again is like building a new family and very comforting. Even from Du Louvre in Paris France. 2009 gala was at the GETTY MUSEUM OF ART. It was a smashing success. Getting in some of my photographic work too, is great fun.
I like to feel my vibrant self in a calm of dreamy foods and great times to jot in a sketch book things that I liked in the ristorante as SNAPPING a photo in the area with myself in it is very normal for me, as my love of life broadens forever within my experiences. And photographs become my mementos. The Santa Barbara area is about a two-hour drive from Malibu Beach. Santa Barbara is with a great shrimp shack for the very best sauteed grilled shrimp sandwiches. The view of the ocean there is worth the drive if you have time. I was fortunate that my aunt had time to eat lunch with me in Sana Barbara. She took time out for me, much like my mother has often done. My aunt took me to the famous Hollywood theatre to see the LION KING too in 2003. She has been so good to me when I traveled in. I am very thankful really of all the time in the world.
